Goal:
Visit all 8 planets in the Solar System (Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune).
Starting Out:
You begin on Earth with 1000 Credits. First, you need to buy a rocket.
Rockets:
Purchase rockets on Earth. Each has different stats and appearance:
- Cost: Credits needed to buy.
- HP (Health): How much damage the rocket can take.
- Fuel Capacity: Maximum fuel units it can hold.
- Efficiency: Affects how much fuel is used during travel (lower is better).
Fuel:
Buy fuel on Earth using Credits. Fuel is essential for traveling between planets. Running out of fuel mid-trip is bad!
Travel:
Use the "Launch / View Star Map" button. Click on a planet to see distance and estimated fuel cost. Click "Initiate Travel" if you have enough fuel.
Rocket Health (HP):
Returning to Earth with zero fuel will damage your rocket (lose HP). You can repair your rocket's HP on Earth using Credits. If your rocket's HP reaches 0 while you are away from Earth, the game is over!
Exploring Planets:
When you arrive at a planet (other than Earth), you can perform activities to earn Credits:
- Gather Resources (Minigame): Click the button to start a mini-game. Use arrow keys to navigate and collect resources specific to the planet.
- Sell Resources: Click "Sell Resources" to open the market view and exchange your gathered materials for Credits.
- Take Quiz: Click "Take Quiz" to answer 5 multiple-choice questions about the planet within the main view. Correct answers earn Credits. The quiz becomes unavailable after completion but resets if you leave the planet and return later.
Winning the Game:
Successfully land on all 8 planets (Mercury through Neptune). Good luck, explorer!
